Halogen-Free Flame Retardant Masterbatch
XF-M8501Y
This product is a halogen-free flame retardant masterbatch using PA6 as the carrier and phosphorus-nitrogen halogen-free flame retardant as the main raw material. It is mainly used in nylon halogen-free flame retardant systems and meets the ROHS requirements. When added to polyamide resin, it will foam and expand on the surface of the resin during thermal melting or combustion to form a multi-porous carbon layer, which plays the roles of heat insulation, oxygen isolation, flame retardancy and can prevent the dripping of molten droplets. This product also has a certain function of suppressing smoke generation, and no toxic or corrosive gases are generated. Compared with powdered flame retardants, this product has better dispersibility and is easier to process. Under the condition of meeting the flame retardant grade, the mechanical properties are more stable, meeting the requirement of dust-free workshop, and also having better temperature resistance and anti-dripping properties.
| Test Item | Unit | Target Value |
| Appearance | - | White Granules |
| Flame Retardant Content | % | 70±0.5 |
| Volatile Matter (105°C/2hr) | % | ≤0.5 |
| Base Material | - | PA6 |
It can be directly mixed with PA66 or PA6 for enhanced injection molding to obtain flame-retardant and reinforced nylon products, reducing production costs. It has high concentration, high flame retardant efficiency, good processing fluidity, little impact on mechanical properties, and can pass the double 85 test at the same time.
Mix directly with materials in proportion for use. Recommended dosage:| Resin System | Flame Retardant Grade | 0% GF | 15% GF | 30% GF |
| PA6 | 1.6mm V-0 | 32% | 28% | 25% |
| PA66 | 1.6mm V-0 | 30% | 26% | 23% |
