Halogen - free Flame Retardant Masterbatch
XF - M8501B
This product is a halogen - free flame retardant masterbatch with PA6 as the carrier, mainly used in the nylon halogen - free flame retardant system. The product complies with ROHS requirements. When added to polyamide resin, it will foam and expand on the surface of the resin during heat cracking or combustion, forming a porous carbon layer. This carbon layer plays roles in heat insulation, oxygen isolation, flame retardancy, and can prevent dripping. The product also has a certain effect on suppressing smoke generation, and does not produce toxic or corrosive gases. Compared with powdered flame retardants, this product has better dispersibility and is easier to process. Under the condition of meeting the flame retardant grade, its mechanical properties are more stable, meeting the requirements of a dust - free workshop. Meanwhile, it also has better temperature resistance and demoulding properties, with no water absorption and no exudation, stable color, excellent thermal stability and processing performance, and can pass the double 85 test. It is an ideal and efficient environmentally - friendly flame retardant masterbatch.
| Test Items | Units | Target Values |
| Appearance | | White particles |
| Flame retardant content | % | 70±0.5 |
| Volatile matter (105°C/2hr) | % | ≤0.5 |
| Base stock | | PA6 |
It can be directly injection - molded by mixing with PA66 or PA6 reinforcing materials to obtain flame - retardant reinforced nylon products, reducing production costs. It has high concentration, high flame - retardant efficiency, good processing fluidity, and little impact on mechanical properties.
It can be used directly after being mixed with materials in proportion. Reference dosage:
