Halogen - Free Flame - Retardant Masterbatch
XF - M8501A
is a halogen - free flame - retardant masterbatch using PA6 as the carrier and phosphorus - nitrogen halogen - free flame retardants as the main raw materials. It is mainly used in the halogen - free flame - retardant system for nylon. The product meets the ROHS requirements. When added to polyamide resin, during heat or combustion, it will foam and expand on the resin surface to form a porous carbon layer. This carbon layer plays a role in heat insulation, oxygen isolation, flame retardancy, and prevents further melting. The product also has a certain smoke - suppressing effect, without generating toxic or corrosive gases. For general flame - retardant agents, it has better dispersibility, is easier to process, and under the condition of meeting the flame - retardant grade, the mechanical properties are more stable, meeting the dust - free requirements of the workshop, and also having better temperature resistance and demoulding properties.
| Test Items | Unit | Target Value |
| Appearance | - | White granules |
| Flame - Retardant Content | % | 70 ± 0.5 |
| Volatile Matter (105°C/2hr) | % | ≤ 0.5 |
| Base Material | - | PA6 |
It can be directly mixed with PA66 or PA6 reinforced materials for injection molding to obtain flame - retardant and reinforced nylon products, reducing production costs. It has a high concentration, high flame - retardant efficiency, good processing fluidity, and has little impact on mechanical properties.
Use after directly mixing with materials in proportion. Reference dosage:
| Resin System | Flame - Retardant Grade | 0% GF | 15% GF | 30% GF |
