PP  - Specific-Halogen Free - Flame Retardant
XF - 8205E

 
is a nitrogen - phosphorus composite halogen - free low smoke intumescent flame retardant, compliant with ROHS requirements. When the polyolefin resin with added XF - 8205E flame retardant is heated or burned, a layer of porous carbon layer will form on the surface of the resin, which can insulate heat, isolate oxygen, and prevent dripping. This flame retardant can also inhibit smoke generation, without producing toxic or corrosive gases.
 
XF - 8205E also has excellent thermal stability and processing performance, making it an ideal, efficient, and environmentally - friendly flame retardant.
XF - 8205E is mainly used for flame - retarding thermoplastic polyolefins such as PP), PE, EVA, and other polyolefin blends. Especially for glass - fiber - reinforced PP products. This product can also be used in TPE products without water - absorption issues. Compared with other PP halogen - free flame retardants, it has a higher decomposition temperature and a wider processing window, enabling the production of reinforced halogen - free flame - retardant PP.

Recommended Dosage

 
The extrusion processing temperature is generally set at around 190 - 210°C, and the screw combination strength should be appropriate to avoid the heat - addition effect caused by heating and shearing, which may lead to local overheating of the screw and cause the decomposition of the flame retardant (the thermal decomposition temperature of XF - 8205E ≥ 280°C).
