XF-8206E
is a halogen-free and environmentalv fiendly flame retardant with phosphorus and nitrogen as fame relardant elements, and is not resticted by the EU RoHS Direcive and REACH regulaton, The XF-8206E also features low density of fame retardant producis, low smoke emission and minimal mold corrosion.
XF-8206E does not belong to the ammonium polyphosphate intumescent fame retardant system. it has higher thermal stability and thermal decomposiion temperature and is suitable for a wider range of processing condiions. PP fame retardant with XF-8206E can achieve UL 94- V0(0.75mm) fame retardancy and pass the 70'ºCx 168hours immersion test (UL746C), as wel as the GwiT 750ºC and GWfl 960ºC hot wire tests. XF-8206E can also be applied in glass fiber reinforced PP and can reach UL 94 v-0 (1.5mm). Moreover, when applied to the extrusion process of polyolefins, there wil be no water slippage at all, and multiple layers of screens can be added during the extrusion processing.
The thermal decomposition temperature of XF-8206E in nitrogen is 280°C. Therefore, the processing temperature of the twin-screw can beincreased according to speciic circumstances to achieve the efect of enhancing dispersion and improving plasicizalion. Several layers of screens can be added during the extrusion processing. A certain vacuum degree must be maintained during the twin-screw exlrusion processing.
Subsitances in the system that have adverse efects on flame retardancy: Cl color powders such as phthalocyanine green can lead to flame retardant failure. When the amount of carbon black is greater than 0.5%, the fame retardancy decreases
